- 2. The fact that justification before God is only by means of faith (3:28)
- 3. The inclusion of the Gentiles in God’s program of justification by means of faith alone (3:29-30)
- 4. Paul’s denial that salvation by faith alone would make the law to be void, asserting that this actually fulfills the law (3:31).

- A. Christ’s work on the cross, God’s altar, brings us grace and peace (5:1-5)
- 1. Our position: justified by faith. (5:1-5)
- 2. The provisions of our position when justified by faith (5:1b)

- B. Because of God’s love, Christ died in our own place, satisfying the wrath of God against us (5:6-8).

- C. The reason for that obligation: The transfer of our sins to Christ and of Christ’s death to us as believers through being baptized into Him (6:3-10)

Note To The Reader
- The church is detoriating because of the preaching of "another gospel".

- Enabling the new believer to become a useful servant-priest: Romans 6:11-23
- Newborn believers who get dumped in the church without any spiritual training, like that in these verses, ar at danger of not truly learning how to grow in their new faith.
- With proper discipling, either by the soul winner or by a coworker in the field of discipleship, they could have learned to obey God’s instruction to His children: “You be holy for I am holy” (I Pet. 1:16).
- Modern church is overpopulated by believers described in in Hebrews 5:11–14. These are believers who still are utterly immature, having never “… exercised their senses to discern between good and evil” (Heb. 5:14). Many who really are believers are unaware of their three very real spiritual enemies, the world system, the flesh including their old sin nature, and the Devil.
- Many churches have many who are worldly and carnal believers
- Satan's danger is real, but this is often not taught
- It is wrong to teach that the believer no longer has a sin nature
- Paul three times in Romans 7 specifically referred to “… the sin nature which is indwelling me”
- The solution is to understand the ministry and the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit
- John the Apostle, when he wrote First John, found it necessary to warn believers: “Stop loving the world system [ruled by Satan] with self-sacrificing, devoted love, and the things which are in the world system. If any man love the world system with self-sacrificing, devoted love, love for the Father is not in him … ” (1 Jn. 2:15–16).
- Worldly believers are still enduring Satan's attacks
- Another problem of the church is secret unbelievers
- Paul's solution: “… If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is the Eternal Lord and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom. 10:9–10).
A NOTE INTENDED ONLY FOR THE SCHOLARS
- Bible texts in this book tend to agree witht he KJV, but pronouns have been modernized.
- Egyptian Greek manuscripts are not followed because of possible Gnostic and Greek philosophical deviations from the Majority text.
- Alexandrian tradition manuscripts display disagreement amongst themselves, and have things not ound in the 5,000 other Greek manuscript copies. Despite this, some scholars claim the Alexandrian readings give the best representation of the original Bible manuscripts.
- Variants in Alexandrian Greek texts were caused by theological misunderstandings of the early church fathers who lived in Egypt.
- These problems are still influencing translators of modern translations of the new testaments.
- We should return to the Majority text.
- NKJV follows the Majority Greek Text.
